Chinese poem illustration: 唐风 蟋蟀/Tang Wind – Crickets

The people of Tang state are generally regarded as mean and stingy because of their poems. Yet the Prince Jizha(季札) has a totally different view. By his words, the Tang people is of deep thoughts and worries for long term(思深哉!其有陶唐氏之遗民乎?不然,何忧之远也?), nothing negative.
This video developed a new interpretation which complies Jizha’s view. The words 蟋蟀(Crickets) and sentence of 今我不乐(I do not play muisc today) are the key for this new story.
In the video, the so called Tang state(唐国) actually is Jin state(晋国) in the history, thus the character 晋 is analysed.

好乐无荒,良士瞿瞿。

蟋蟀在堂,役车其休。
