A touching and lovely poem with many idioms created, like 绸缪, 三星, 良人 which are still popular used today. A new interpretation is develpoed in this video, it is more likely a half celebration half condolence poem about Tang people’s annual ceremony, the year end sacrifice to ancestors, a celebration to new year as well. This video is also my condolence to my father in 2021 Qiming festival(清明节) which is April 5th.
Three stars(三星,天空中明亮而接近的三星,有参宿三星,心宿三星,河鼓三星) most probably refers to Chinese constellation Can(参宿). 参 means three. This constellation is the pointer stars for Chinese new year when the Three Stars is at the highest altitude in dead south, reveals the most grand celebartion day of a year.
