Full video also available at Bilibili: 小雅 南山有台
A very simple anthem song for the lord, very similar to the song in Zhou Wind – Jiu Wood(周南 樛木). What is more, this poem contributes many congratulatory phrases and sentences that still widely used today.
The key literature allusions of South Mountains(南山) and North Mountains(北山) was analyzed , together with its intentionally designed structure( 3 pair of sentences in a paragraph, 5 paragraphs total), all the above strongly suggests that this song is dedicated for Kings of Zhou, the son of heaven(天子), and most probably for the celebration to his long life. The other song Jiu Wood(樛木) sounds that it could be applied to any lords by its wording.
The character 台 , word 邦家 are discussed.
