The most famous Tang poem wrote about Beijing, which is a frontier city in Tang dynasty. Youzhou Platform(幽州台 or 黄金台) was built by a king to summon talented person.
The poet think himself is talented, anyhow, there is no wise king who would summon him, as he described in the poem. In the sense of space and time it comes to helpless and loneliness.
There is an argument that this poem was not by Chen Ziang, as this poem was not in his poem collection but in the preface of it. Chen Ziang’s poem collection was by his best friend Lu Cangyong (卢藏用)

念天地之悠悠，
独怆然而涕下。
