Simple comparison between Yellow river area, Yangtze river area and Pearl river area, the weather, the geographic characters etc. are made to help you to understand why spring of Jiangnan is the best across China, which finally become a common sense today. This poem might contribute hugely to this common sense.
The more the beautiful , the happier surrounding atmosphere were, the poorer, the sadder the poet feels.Anyhow, the poem was mostly remembered by its description of the scenic views and the mysterious and vague feeling in the Spring of Jiangnan.

千里莺啼绿映红，
水村山郭酒旗风。
